Joy
Tanner- I am a potter currently in Bakersville, NC working at the Energy XChange.
The current focus in my work is the interplay between repetition and variation, through the use of line,
texture and depth. I create wheel thrown and altered functional and decorative pieces using stoneware
and porcelain clays. Firing my pieces in a wood and soda kiln, I find I can explore these
concepts on an infinite level. Thank you for visiting my blog; a glimpse of my inspirations, discoveries, thoughts, struggles and successes that I come across as a potter.

William Baker - Wood and Soda Fired Pottery-
I am a studio potter living high atop Roan Mountain in North Carolina. I spend most of my time creating pottery one piece at time
on the potter’s wheel, using a wood fired kiln as one of my most important tools.
